For decades, Joe Truck has been making trailblazing contributions to the tattoo industry. In 1995, he opened his first studio in New York City -- something that was illegal at the time. After fighting (and defeating) New York’s tattoo ban, Joe became the operator the Big Apple’s first legal studio. In the following decades, he would manage more studios throughout Long Beach. Now, he’s paired years of experience with California’s most talented artists. The result is Black Buffalo Tattoo Collective, a studio that puts pride in every drop of ink we deliver.
